Scott Poley is a music producer, songwriter and session musician from Liverpool, UK. In 2007, Scott graduated with an honours degree in Sound Technology from Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).
Inspired to pick up the guitar by the music of George Harrison and Buddy Holly, Scott is now a highly accomplished player of guitar / pedal steel / lap steel / dobro & mandolin. He has toured, recorded and written music across the UK, Europe and North America and is currently a recommended producer and session player at Parr Street Studios (Liverpool).
‘Passport’, by The Scott Poley Project is Scott’s first album of original music. The album features 10 original songs and collaborations with some of the UK’s finest vocalists & session musicians and special guests such as legendary guitarists Albert Lee & Oz Noy.
Scott can also be seen and heard working with artists including Peter Asher (Peter & Gordon, manager and producer of James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt), Joe Topping & The Vagrant Kings and Cherry Ghost.
