About

Scott Poley is a Composer, Producer, Session Guitarist & Pedal Steel Player, Musical Director and YouTuber.  With 15 years experience in the music industry,  Scott has worked on thousands of songs / compositions and played countless live gigs.

His work has featured on TOP 40 recordings on iTunes, Amazon and a number of FM radio charts around the world.  Scott has worked with diverse artists including Liam Gallagher, Cherry Ghost, Peter Asher, The Hallé Orchestra, Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac, Ray Quinn, Joe Topping & Cara Luft.

Scott graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Sound Technology from Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts (LIPA), going on to become an in house producer / session musician at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios. 

Scott has worked with brands including The Voice (UK), Native Instruments, Gothic Instruments (Dronar), PRS Guitars, Liverpool University. He has worked as Musical Director for ‘Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac’, ‘The Ritz Carlton Hotel’, Dubai & ‘Amilla Fushi’ (6* Maldives Resort).

As a producer / session player, Scott works in a huge range of genres including Country, Rock, Pop, Bluegrass, Blues and everything in between.

As Musical Director of the show “Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac”, Scott has been a driving force in recent success of the band, keeping the music as authentic to the original Fleetwood Mac recordings as possible.

Recently Scott has begun to find success as a YouTuber providing viewers with entertaining and valuable content to help viewers make music.

2024 sees Scott releasing some new original music, featuring incredible session musicians and string players from the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
